Join us for the opening of Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, followed by a river cruise from Passau, Germany, with stops in Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.
While in Munich, Arno's Bear Cruises will organize excursions to some amazing places like the Neu-Schwanstein Castle (Disney's castle is modeled after that), Garmisch Partenkirchen, a beautiful town with the possibility to go up to the highest mountain in Germany, The Zugspitze. And Dachau, a historical place from World War II. Other excursions are in the making.
The Marriott in Munich will be the host hotel for our stay. Because of Oktoberfest, there will be a 4 night minimum stay in Munich. Other hotels can be booked upon request, however the host hotel will be the primary meeting point for excursions. The morning of September 21st make your way to the host hotel with your luggage and you are all set.
On September 21 we will walk from the host hotel to the Oktoberfest for Pink Sunday. Get there early to get a seat. The tent will be packed with LGBT families. In the afternoon we will walk back to the Marriott, about 30 minutes, and we will make our way to Passau where we board the vessel.

Gay Sunday at Oktoberfest, also known as Rosa Wiesn, is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community that takes place on the first Sunday of Oktoberfest. Thousands of LGBTQ+ people from around the world gather in Munich, Germany, to enjoy one of the most unique gay parties in Europe.
The celebration originated in the 1970s as a small event organized by the Münchner Löwen Club, a gay rights organization. Over the years, it has grown into an annual tradition that attracts visitors from all over the world.
The main venue for Gay Sunday is the Pschorr-Bräurosl tent, one of the largest tents at Oktoberfest. The tent features a variety of entertainment, including live music, dancing, and a whip-cracker show. It is also a popular spot for gay and lesbian locals and international visitors to socialize and meet new people.
In addition to Gay Sunday, Munich has a thriving LGBTQ+ scene year-round. The city is home to many gay bars, clubs, and saunas, as well as a number of LGBTQ+ organizations and events.
